    traditional breakfast
    beautiful decor
    lack of outlets
    missing convenience

I loved the traditional Japanese breakfast—it was an amazing assortment of delicacies! The atmosphere and decor were stunning too. Just a shame there weren't enough outlets in the room. 😅

    cramped quarters
    inedible food

this place was definitely 'unique' with super cramped quarters, even for a single traveler. breakfast was an absolute joke, partially inedible salt bombs. shockingly, no complimentary gestures for my inconvenience. a little room upgrade would have been nice. overall, i almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn't.

    fantastic location
    traditional breakfast

great location but limited charging options

The location was fantastic. just a short walk to Nishiki Market and easy access to public transport. I particularly enjoyed the traditional breakfast. it had a nice variety and was beautifully presented each morning. The men's onsen was also a clean and relaxing space where I could unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, my room had a lovely tea nook that added a charming touch to my stay.

    authentic experience
    dated decor

The public bath was a highlight of our stay, providing a relaxing and authentic Japanese experience.

The hotel feels somewhat dated, reminiscent of a business hotel from the past, which might not meet everyone's expectations of a traditional ryokan.

    green tea bath
    traditional breakfast

My stay at Kinparo was truly delightful! The Japanese-Style Room was immaculately clean, and the aroma of the public bath, infused with green tea, created a calming atmosphere. The breakfast featured a lovely variety of traditional dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented.

    uncomfortable bedding

Spacious rooms for our family, super clean and cozy. The location was perfect, just a hop away from exciting local shops. Nice details, like traditional decor and thoughtful touches everywhere!

Sleeping on the floor lost its charm after two nights. My back was ready to file a complaint!

    welcoming staff

great location but minor room shortcomings

The location of the property was exceptional! Just steps away from Nishi market and only a quick walk to public transport. Daily room cleaning was meticulous, and the staff made us feel welcomed at every turn. I particularly enjoyed the traditional breakfast—it was a delightful start to each day! My family loved the cozy atmosphere.

    spacious room
    comfy futons
    beautiful decor
    limited outlets
    small charging space

The Japanese-Style Room was surprisingly spacious for our family of four, with comfortable beds and a nice tea nook to relax. The futons were really comfy, especially when they were set up every night. Plus, the decor was traditional and beautiful. Only downside was that there weren't many outlets for charging devices. Overall, it was a lovely, cozy stay!
